1. Eliminate Food Sources

2. Remove Water Sources
   Cockroaches need water to survive and will find even the smallest of leaks or puddles.

   • Don’t let water accumulate in bathtubs or sinks
   • Use dehumidifiers in areas prone to humidity
3. Declutter
   The less clutter you have, the fewer places cockroaches have to hide. Decluttering also gives you better visibility to spot an infestation quickly. This goes for all areas of your home.

   Maintaining a clean home beyond just the kitchen is critical. Focus on areas often forgotten but that can harbor food particles:

    

   • Clean behind the stove and fridge every 2-3 months.

   • Regularly wash pet bedding to prevent pests like ticks and fleas.

   • Clean up food spills immediately and avoid leaving food out.

   • Termite & Pest paper bags and boxes often contain cockroach larvae.
5. Seal Entry Points
   Prevent cockroaches from entering your home by sealing any cracks or crevices around windows, doors, and other entry points. An unsealed crack is like leaving your front door wide open for pests.
